Online Therapy

These days, it’s easier than ever to do therapy…

Online therapy has become the norm. And given the convenience it offers, it’s easy to see why.

Is it difficult for you to make in-person appointments?

Do you want to save commute time?

Are you a traveler or always on the go?

Would you like to do therapy without having to find childcare or other accommodations?

Do you want to do therapy from the comfort of your couch (or wherever you need to be)?

Want to have your favorite pet in session with you whom you can cuddle when conversations get tough?

What about talking about hard things in your most comfy clothes, even your PJs?

If these conveniences sound nice (and they are!), then teletherapy is the way to go!

We’ll meet wherever and whenever it’s best for you!

People generally prefer doing therapy where they feel safe and surrounded by loved ones – for example, in their home.

What is your favorite spot in your house – your comfy couch, your bedroom, or the patio porch? We can do therapy there.

Or perhaps you travel… we can do therapy from the comfort of your hotel room or balcony.

We can do therapy from anywhere… Your best friend’s house or partner’s house. The beach, the mountains, a park, or somewhere in nature that you have cellphone service. We can do therapy from anywhere you feel most comfortable.

We can squeeze therapy in during a lunch break or at your most convenient time.

Teletherapy is right for you if you need to save time. Instead of taking time to travel to therapy, our sessions are simply a click away! We will send you weekly links to our video calls, and all you have to do is hop on from your device.

So What Exactly is Online Therapy?

Online therapy aka teletherapy or virtual therapy is a convenient and simple way to receive psychotherapy services. You will enjoy the convenience and comfort of working on yourself from the comfort of your home or office.

Whether you’re dealing with symptoms of anxiety, stress, bipolar disorder, depression, or other mental health problems, we can help. Online therapy allows you to get the help and support you need from home.

Therapy via video is JUST as effective as in-person therapy.

It’s easier to fit therapy into your day. Telehealth is very similar to in-person therapy. Please note that we will cover the same material that we would cover in person. The only difference is a physical presence. Research and personal experience have proven that online therapy is as effective as in-person therapy. Additionally, it gives you the opportunity and freedom to work on your mental health goals in ways not possible before.

Technology has continued to advance, and video therapy has become easier than ever to use. Plus, it is safe and fully secure! To assure this, we use HIPAA-compliant systems so your confidential information will be safe in an online world.

Why Pursue Online Therapy

Consistency…

Connected and engaged…

A powerful message or question from your therapist or counselor carries as much weight when connecting online with a Zoom call or Skype. Once you have a strong connection with a person, there is no need to be in the same room to experience an impact.

Privacy and confidentiality…

Sessions are held via your iPad, computer or smart phone. You can be in a place where you feel comfortable and safe You won’t have to worry about running into someone you know in the office or in the area. And like traditional therapy, our conversation remains secure through secure encryption.

 Safety…

You might have health concerns related to being in a public setting and don’t want to risk getting sick. Online therapy allows you to remain in an environment where you don’t have to worry about your health.

How it Works

First, we’ll talk over the phone during your free consultation to see how we can help you. This also makes the first session easier for you.

If we both feel like it is a good fit, we’ll be sending you paperwork via secure portal to fill out prior to our meeting. Everything is electronic to make it easy for you. Filling out the paperwork takes no more than 3-5 minutes.

We will then send a link to your email before your appointment. Simply click in the link and you’ll be in session. We’ll be meeting on a HIPAA-compliant platform to ensure safety and efficiency.

All you have to do is click the link, then turn on your camera and audio. Simple! You’ll be in session for the next 50 minutes.

You get to talk and process what’s going on for you from the comfort of your own space! At the end of our appointment, we’ll both log off.

All future session will be the same. Simple and easy.
